Spike is Oliver’s pet dog. He is also his best friend in the entire world, and vice versa. The bond between them is incredibly strong, not just because Oliver and Spike get along so well, but because Dimension Jumpers have a natural affinity for attracting animal companions and familiars.

As such, Spike will follow Oliver anywhere, including into another dimension, should Oliver jump there.

If Oliver is threatened, Spike will be the first to intervene. He is fiercely loyal to his friend and master.
